Yes, yes, it’s a new domain. When I realized my purpose a few weeks ago, I had to snag it. The radical self, as most folks know, is a conceptualized form of a person: the best version of a person, and that we all have the capacity to be that most radical self. It’s not merely a state of being, but a state a living. That, despite our shortcomings or history or goals in life, we can absolutely meet our best selves through continuously doing just a little bit better every day, and making sure we are priority one in everything we do — no excuses.
Through trial and error, as I’ve said, I’m starting to realize this concept has a point. If I can be successful at these things, you can too. That’s what I want to write about. I want to share what I am learning on my own journey to being the most radical version of myself.
Not only that, but having had a bipolar diagnosis put back on my record was a little bit of an eye opener. It was a concrete revelation that I’ve been investing way too much time into people and being so stressed out about it that it was actually affecting me. It’s nobody’s fault at present, though it is a sign that I still have things to work on.
At this stage, it’s no longer about waiting to be healed or for the right moment — the right moment is now. I used to worry that I had to be an expert on mastering the best self. Now I know that the expertise needed is in the journey itself. Once the journey is mastered, the rest falls into place and reveals itself, or more roadblocks will be revealed as you go.
I’m just really excited to get the domain for my own and share what I learn as I go.
