It’s October 1st!

Posted on October 1, 2024November 10, 2025 by Seth

Had a good day — anxiety was high, and so was my hypervigilance. But I was actually able to focus on work and not mess with my phone as much, though I did “speak before thinking,” but once. Corrected with mild embarrassment, but the nice thing about being halfway around the world is people were probably asleep and never saw it.

I did get internet setup, and the place i am in lost their minds under the belief that they’re resposible for it — they aren’t. I made sure of that when I inquired about getting it. 100% of it is my responsibility. I’m going to get the company to write a letter showing that I am the only person responsible and there are no “fees” associating with getting disconnected, which won’t be an issue. I plan on staying unless they refuse me the ability to be online. As a gamer, writer, and Twitch moderator, I kinda need my internet.

Speaking of hypervigilance, I snagged a counterfeit bill at work. Am kinda proud of myself. And maybe a little cocky about it. But it’s a thing, it happens, it will probably happen again, and I got over myself fairly quickly.

On that note, I’m going to bed.

Have a good time zone, everyone! 🔆🙌💛
