Short work day, had my group meeting at 6:30, so I left early. Boss didn’t mind.
After that, noticed my bank didn’t deposit my $$ until after it decided to give a petty fee for hitting zero on my balance, then another petty fee for going below zero due to the other petty fee. Then it put my money in.
After all that, I got 2 pairs of jeans, some sweats and a t-shirt (both black) for chillin’ at the crib here, and some underwear because mine is all a couple of sizes too big. EVERYTHING IS TOO BIG!!! I’M SHRINKING DAMMIT!! haha. Tomorrow, I’m going to try to snag some tac boots before work, but I promised my roommate I’d do a couple of things for her before I went, so the shoes might have to wait until Saturday night. I’m about to get that shirt and hat off of ITAV. Excited to get the new clothes gig going. My goal is to have good clothes that all fit in a single duffel bag for easy movement.
Meeting was about making amends — a step that I am not even near completing (page 83 in the 12 and 12). I just listened.
I am also getting super excited about my job. I work in the C-Store industry, and have had a lifelong love of going to different company C-Stores and if they had them, I’d buy a travel coffee mug with their logo on it. When I lived in Denver, I had at least two dozen mugs from two dozen different C-Stores. Now that I’m in this area of retail, I’m catching myself reading up on the industry and how it works. This isn’t gaming, but I can see a game or three based on this (all simulations, maybe even a really bizarre rpg).
We had a really bizarre day at work today. No details due to sensitivity of the events that occurred, but the weirdness kinda put me in a funk all day. But not a bad funk, just a very pensive funk that left me writing ideas for original fiction pieces and adding more scraps to the WIP pile.
Stay not-weird everyone! haha 🤪
