Just a check in online to go over what we learned from our SRT and if anyone had any questions, and also to prepare new sheets. Nothing too fancy. I haven’t been sharing mine on here, but I think I’ll start with our new SRM metric sheets, which my new one starts tomorrow. I keep a hand written log and then put all the details on the official document the next morning as part of a recap routine that I’m intending to make a ritual out of.
I technically have the day off, workwise, and there’s a card show in town thatr I’d like to go walk around, even if only just to look. I haven’t really collected any cards in a very long time, but it’d be a nice treat to go see what’s out there and maybe get an idea for starting a collection. I do have some Magic: The Gathering cards from when BG3 came out, and have found them useful for designing ideas for stories that never got beyond ideas.
I wrote two goals for this week. One is don’t be so hard on or mean to myself before consulting a friend first. I do have friends, and when I get in those modes, I feel so damned isolated and alone, and it’s very much related to past traumas. So when I feel like ripping myself a new butt crack, I am making a goal to call a friend first. This is probably “duh” to most people, but it’ll take a lot of effort to actually do that when the time arises. I do have my list of numbers (I actually made a list of people to call), and everyone on the list is aware and already telling me to call. I did that footwork after the last one just to be sure, first.
Tomorrow, I’ll post what my personal log looks like, and I will also start incorporating some new things to my daily routine, but I’ll talk about that tomorrow.
In Raid, I finally got Magnarr to maxed out gear levels, and I must say, he’s a bit of a beast in most content. I know he can be stronger, as AyumiLove has him at 62k power — he’s wearing a 2 piece Crit Damage instead of Cruel like I have on him with a standard Demonspawn jewelery set. My next goal with him is to ascend the gear, since it’s actually good, stat-wise, and worth the investment.
I’ve been playing since Day One 2019, but I’m hyper-casual at this game. I’ll go full force for 3-4 months and then never look at it for a month or more. So I am at midgame at best. I’m still reliant on Athel (my starter) and Kael for most of my heavy damage, so having someone like big bad Magnarr on my roster has really gotten me through some HUGE bottlenecks.
For those who are interested (my fellow dorks, haha), this is my most advanced champion list:
I’ve not really looked at who among the epics are tossable, because well..this isn’t a MASSIVE group to sort through. Currently, I just want to get them leveled up all the way, and then to rank 5 so they can at least be rank food if they’re that crappy of a champion. BUT I also have 600 champs in my reserve and 300 in my master vaults. Master for “intend to grow” champs, and the reserve is pure rank food.
My main 5 champ team is Athel, Kael, Magnarr, Scyl of the Drakes, and Rector Drath. Holy hells, Drath has been a gods-send. Speaking of getting out of bottlenecks, I was stuck at Stage 12 Minotaur forever, then I got Drath, and now I can 2-man to Stage 16 and throw whoever needs masteries along with them, then just auto-battle until they get all of their scrolls.
But yeah, I’m rather excited about getting this squad built so I can use Rae for campaign farming. She is still not as fast as Athel for me in 12-3 Brutal, but I know she can be. Work in Progress, she is. This is how I have Rae set up now:
Her gear is okay at best (some stats are completely useless for something like campaign farming), but she can still get through 12-3…like I said, though, just not as fast as Athel (it’s a 30 second vs 14 second difference).
The 11 seconds was Athel and Rae both. I also did get Fell Hound but haven’t built him yet. I hear he’s also a beast in campaign farming…literal beast, he’s a doggo.

He is in the Sacred Order faction. Which is fine, I’m still excited!
Anyway, enough of that…aside from preparing my new daily log sheets (the hand-written ones), I’m also planning on getting my house caught up, as it needs a little bit of work to get back in shape, and then maybe focus on some writing, today.
I did add something to mom’s chair space to make it more cozy. I moved the book shelf next to it. I know it’s a simple gesture, but it means a lot for me and my home. I am doing some research on a better lamp, though. Maybe some thrift shopping is in store, today along with that trip to the card show…
